A local pizza place has an Italian salad that they serve with a Romano cheese and herb dressing. I made my own version of the salad for lunches during the work day, and wanted a creamy dressing that wasn’t Ranch. This is definitely going to be on my go-to salad dressing list.
I used an Italian seasoning blend in this recipe. If you don’t have that on hand, you can make your own (Gimme Some Oven has a good Italian Seasoning recipe).
I made this salad for lunches, but it’s also a good to have with dinner, like a homemade pizza, meatball pasta bake, or orecchiette with Italian sausage.
